Training Grant for Companies
The Economic Development Board’s Training Grant for Companies encourages manpower capability development in applying new technologies, industrial skills and professional know-how. This is achieved through the support of training programmes for companies’ employees.
Your company can be funded for up to 30% of qualifying costs such as trainee salaries and overseas training expenses. A higher support rate may be awarded for training programmes that develop capabilities assessed to be industry critical.

SkillsFuture SG External Training
Your company can enjoy course fee and absentee payroll funding for both SkillsFuture SG (SSG) external training if you sponsor your staff (PMETs) for training.

Course Fee Funding
• External courses offered by SSG-appointed CET centres: Up to 70% of course fees
• External certifiable courses approved by SSG: 50% of course fees, capped at $15/hour
Absentee Payroll Funding
Your company can enjoy funding for 80% of your employee’s hourly basic salary capped at $4.50/hour. For training outside working hours, your company will need to top up the balance 20% of your employee’s hourly basic salary, capped at $1.10/hour.

• External certifiable courses approved by SSG: 90% of course fees, capped at $50/hour•
Absentee Payroll Funding
Your company can enjoy funding for 80% of your employee’s hourly basic salary capped at $4.50/hour. For training outside working hours, your company will need to top up the balance 20% of your employee’s hourly basic salary, capped at $1.10/hour.

• External certifiable courses approved by SSG
Absentee Payroll Funding
Your company can enjoy funding for 95% of your employee’s hourly basic salary. For training outside working hours, your company will need to top up the balance 5% of your employee’s hourly basic salary.
The course fee funding and absentee payroll funding are also applicable to Persons with Disabilities who are Singapore Citizens aged 13 and above.

Company Led Training
(CLT) Programme
CLT is a structured development programme that aims to enable fresh and mid-level professionals to acquire specialist, expert or mastery-level competencies for job roles in demand by the industry.
Companies applying to be training partners under CLT must possess the necessary abilities and capacity to deliver the training programmes.
