Professional Diploma in ERP (SAP FI)

This course provides the learners with knowledge, hands-on skills and implementation experience on SAP ERP Financial Accounting Module. Learners will gain in-depth knowledge of Financial  Accounting processes within an enterprise and understand the functionality available in SAP ERP to support the Financial Accounting processes.

 

Learners will gain skills and hands-on experience in designing and setting up organization structure and Financial Accounting processes on SAP ERP.

 

Learner can use SAP Learning Hub & Lithan LMS for e-learning and SAP server Access for performing simulated Lab Exercises, Module Projects and Capstone project.

Session 8: Lab Exercises – off campus (2 hrs)

The Student will PERFORM activities related to IU7 & IU8 in Server Lab environment

  • Student will be given a project brief  which comprises few task in server environment
  • Student should complete the task up to the milestone 1 (off campus- 3 hrs)
  • Student can seek online support if needed

Session 14: Tutoring - Live (3 hrs)

  • Student should present the project up to mile stone 1 and seek tutor’s feedback.
  • Student can seek support & guidance for the milestone 2  of the project

The Student will present the project what they have completed until Milestone 1 to the tutor  and seek feedback & support 

Before session: The student will IMPLEMENT tasks related to milestone 1 of the project (off campus - 3 hrs):

  • Enterprises Structure – Define & Assign in the respective functional modules
  • ABAP Task 1

By end of this module, the learner should be able to apply the following skills:

  • Analyse the given real time scenario
  • Gather functional & Non functional requirements from the clients
  • Map the client requirements of all functional modules with ERP system
  • Create transaction codes using screen programming according to the  client requirements
  • Create required web dynpro components and applications
  • Transfer the existing data from the legacy system to the ERP system
  • Enhance transactions of all functional modules as required by the functional consultants
  • Generate required reports using object oriented, ALV
  • Submit the project report 

Ideal Candidates

Entry Requirements

  • Candidates who would like to pursue Masters in ERP Management course (Victoria University) after completing this Diploma course should have any of the following qualifications, while enrolling to this Diploma course:
  1. Bachelor Degree with IT specialization; work experience in Business IT is not mandatory or
  2. Bachelor Degree with non-IT specialization; mandatory 2 years working experience in Business IT roles or
  3. Diploma with IT specialization; mandatory 3 years working experience in Business IT roles or
  4. Diploma with non-IT specialization; mandatory 5 years working experience in Business IT roles
  • Candidates who have no plans to enroll to Masters in ERP Management course can have any educational qualification, (Minimum A Level or Equivalent with IELTS 5.5 or Equivalent) but should have knowledge and experience in related areas of Finance Management such as account receivables, account payables
  • Fresh graduates, with a qualification that specializes in related areas of Finance Management  or in Programming, can be considered for admission to this course, after going through an Oral Assessment.
