NICF - Diploma In IT Services (Database Management)

This course provides the learner with knowledge, hands-on skills and development experience in SAP BW.

 

Learners will be able to analyse the functional specifications prepared by the SAP functional consultants and Extract and Modelling using BW.

 

Learners will acquire  hands-on experience in Extraction tools(ETL), Modelling ,Multidimensional design , Query designing, Web Application designing, Analysis, and Integrated Planning .

 

Learners will also apply the business intelligence concepts into different industry applications such as Finance company, healthcare industry, telecommunication industry and service industry

 

Learner can use SAP Learning Hub & Lithan LMS for e-learning and SAP server Access for performing simulated Lab Exercises, Module Projects.

  • Concepts of BEx Queries and Analysis tools such as BEx(Business Explorer) Query designer, Analyzer
  • Concepts of Variables , Exceptions, Conditions in Queries 
  • Concepts of Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports 
  • Overview of Business Objects Analysis , BO Explorer
  • Introduction to Information Design tool , Data foundation and Business Layer

By end of  this module, the learner should be able to perform the following activities:

  • Execute Query using Bex Query Designer
  • Create Simple Queries and configure Query properties
  • Create a Web Intelligence document with advanced functions on an universe
  • Create a new report in SAP Crystal Reports for Enterprise on an universe
  • Create a workspace with Analysis, OLAP edition on a SAP BEx query
  • Create a dashboard model with a Microsoft Excel data source using basic Dashboards functions

The student has to attend a Live Orientation Session conducted at LA campus

The Tutor will explain the project brief,  guidelines and expectations.
