At Lithan, we provide a complete classroom to workplace learning service which is aimed at producing work-ready talents with industry relevant skills. At every stage of the learner’s journey, gig instructors, mentors, tutors and even consultants will be involved.
As a gig worker, you can switch between the 4 job roles to fit into your schedule. Experience what the gig economy is truly like with Lithan's on-demand learning and mentoring platform! You are required to be ACTA certified before you can start working with us.
Instructor
Lithan's instructors use their industry experience to contextualise learning outcomes for our learners, ensuring that they receive work ready skills that can be immediately be used at the workplace.
As an instructor, you will ensure that our learners achieve each week’s learning goals in our flipped classrooms. Using our Learning Management System (LMS), Teamie, you will engage students online, addressing any doubts they might have while revising for class.
You will also provide instruction to classes offline following our curriculum, ensuring that learners can pick up the skills they will need for their future career.
Mentor
As a mentor, you will guide and advise learners on their capstone or final projects, ensuring that they are able to apply the skills they have learnt correctly and effectively.
With the goal of producing skilled talents, you will also share your industry experiences with learners to increase their industry exposure. As a mentor, you will also be able to recommend to our learners how they can further their career ambitions, as well as network with them if they possess a skill set that you are looking for.
Tutor
Our learners will need one to one support for technical and/or doubts on course content. As a Tutor, you will engage our learners online to help and ensure that they are able to achieve their learning goals smoothly.
Consultant
As a learning consultant, you will diagnose, consult and manage our enterprise partners who wish to set up a learning workplace and/or OJT blueprints to train their new talents. You will also monitor the progress of the implementation of such projects, ensuring that the enterprise understands the new programme being introduced to them.

As business needs are changing faster and faster in response to the digital economy, businesses will switch to hiring contract, freelance specialists rather than having to constantly retrench their workforce when the need arises.
You will need an ACTA certification and will be expected to be able to teach following skills within each domain as part of our adjuct faculty:
You will be expected to teach learners how to establish and track an organisation’s market position, develop and execute a digital marketing campaign.
You will need to be familiar with implementing the following digital market strategies: Social Media Marketing, Email & Content Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation & Marketing, Mobile Marketing and Video Marketing.
You will be expected to teach learners agile values and lean methodology as well as the fundamentals of innovation and entrepreneurship.
You will need to be familiar with the following sales and business development strategies: Go-to-market strategy, lean canvas, investor’s pitch, sales pitch, digital marketing strategies.
You will be expected to teach agile application development using SCRUM, and possess programming language knowledge and experience in either of: .Net, Java, C#, PHP, Python, SQL, HTML and/ or CSS.
You will be expected to teach learners how to query and visualise data, using statistical thinking for data analytics and principles of machine learning.
You will need to be familiar with the following tools used for data analytics: R Programming, Hadoop and Spark on Microsoft Azure HDInsight.
You are expected to teach the fundamentals of server and network, how to install and configure operating systems, how to support, administer and maintain IT infrastructure.
You will need to be familiar with Windows server infrastructure and CISCO security
You are expected to teach how to implement and maintain ERP systems as well as how to scope implementation requirements for ERP.
We provide ERP courses for multiple business domains: HCM, FI, ABAP, SD, MM. You will need to be familiar with the implementation of ERP system for the respective business domain.
You are expected to teach how to set up a startup and bring it from ideation all the way to market. Experienced entrepreneurs are our ideal mentors, but project and product management experience is valued as well.
You will need to be familiar with innovative venture creation, agile methodology, digital marketing and startup management.
Our CLaaS@Work service is supported by a workplace learning consultant. You are expected to be able to scope the requirements for the enterprise for their learning workplace as well as to give recommendations to the possible steps and funding they can access.
You will need to be familiar with setting up OJT blueprints, creating a process for workplace learning and using the latest digital training and recruitment solutions available.

With Lithan’s applied learning qualifications, you will be able to gain both industry-relevant skills as well as industry exposure through our experienced mentors.

As we are a Skillsfuture-recognised Continuing Education and Training (CET) centre, you can utilise up to 90% SSG course fee funding and SkillsFuture Credit approved courses to give you the skills you need to provide training and recruitment consultancy in HR, Digital Sales and Marketing and ERP.
All Lithan graduates can become our qualified instructors, mentors and tutors if they fulfil the requirements.

What qualifications do I need to be a mentor with Lithan?
You will need at least 10 years of industry experience and a valid WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) to teach our funded courses.
What qualifications do I need to be a tutor with Lithan?
You will need to be able to use helpdesk software and/or be able to solve technical issues involving learning management software. Knowledge of digital marketing, SAP ERP and/or IT Systems Management is a bonus.
What is the commitment for me as a mentor?
Our mentors teach 12.5 hours per module, and must be available for the entire duration of the course. On-campus,
What is the commitment for me as a tutor?
If you are selected as a tutor, you will be assigned to a course. Per course, our tutors are expected to be on standby for at least X hours per week.
You will be assisting our learners on a 1-to-1 basis on technical issues as well as online navigation of our learning management system should they need help.

What are the subjects that I can be a tutor for?
You can be a tutor for any course, as you will be only providing technical assistance for our learning management software. Any domain knowledge is an added bonus but not required to be a tutor.
