Singapore Human Resource Institute and Lithan sign MOU to Future Ready HR Professionals
Singapore, November 8, 2016 – A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI) and Lithan Academy, a WSG-recognized CTE Centre and Approved Training Organization, early Tuesday, 8th November 2016, to foster greater collaboration on enhancing and raising the standard of the HR Community in Singapore through training and education, capability development, and synergistic networks.
The fast pace of technology innovation has changed the way we work, live and play. Naturally, the future of work was impacted and current jobs have been redefined. Digital skills are fast becoming core skills essential to perform future jobs.
“Future HR professionals will increasingly need to use social media and advanced education technologies to recruit and train talents. From the resume to the search to the interview, human resource professionals are fast moving toward a digital hiring model. Modern recruiters are now using innovative digital technology to engage and screen talents rather than just relying on resumes to get better insights into individual job seekers. Learning has also evolved; with enterprises now increasingly relying on advanced education technology and innovative pedagogy to deliver more flexible learning at the workplace.” said Mr. Leslie Loh, founder and CEO of Lithan.
Lithan offers comprehensive courses to support HR professionals in acquiring digital skills for talent recruitment, human capital development, and human resource operation management.
