- Configure file access and printers on a Windows client computer
- Configure network connectivity on a windows client computer
- Configure wireless network connectivity on a windows client computer
- Configure mobile computing and remote access settings for a windows client computer

Candidates will be able to acquire the following knowledge and skills after completing this module
- Installing, upgrading, and Migrating to windows 8.1
- Configuring Disks and Device Drivers
- Configuring file Access and Printers on Windows 8.1 Clients
- Configuring network connectivity
- Configuring Wireless Network Connections
- Securing Windows 8.1 Desktops
- Optimizing and maintaining windows 8.1 client computers
- Target Job Roles
Candidates upon completion of the course should be able to assume targeted job roles

- Delivery Schedule and Method
Delivery Schedule:
- The module will be delivered in 7 evening sessions of 3 hrs each
- 7 pm to 10 pm
- There will be 1 or 2 sessions in a week
Delivery Method:
- Lecture time will be divided equally into class rooming and comprehensive work shop training. During workshop training, there will be tutorials and hands on practical activities.
- Lecturers are Microsoft Certified Trainers from varied industry background.

- Entry Requirements
- Students must have completed a minimum A level or a Polytechnic Diploma qualifications
- Students with Diploma in Engineering, IT, Finance with or without experience may apply
- Certificates Issued
Following awards will be issued to students after successfully completing the assessment:
- IT-IS-312S-1 Install software to networked computers
- IT-IS-313S-1 Provide system administration
- Education Pathway
Candidate can enrol into further modules to get NICF – Advanced Certificate in IT Services ( Infrastructure Support )

Students must complete and successfully pass all modules
