This course provides the learner with knowledge, hands-on skills and development experience in SAP ERP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). Learners will be able to analyse the functional specifications prepared by the SAP functional consultants and prepare technical specifications and write programmes using ABAP to increase enterprise's operational efficiency. Learners will also acquire hands-on experience in standard programming, object oriented programming, screen programming, web designing, enhancements, debugging, transfer of data and create customized reports using ABAP.

- Analyse what is an ERP system, its technical architecture and functional modules with SAP ERP as reference
- Define how to implement SAP ERP and understand the role of ABAP Programmers
- Define SAP ERP Development Environment, ABAP Workbench and various tools required for programming
- Learn how to use data dictionary and tables of various SAP FI, MM, SD and HR modules
- Learn ABAP programming syntax and the program structure and debugging mechanism
- Learn how to write Interactive Reports and build transactions using Screen/ Dialogue Programming,
- Learn how to create Web Applications for SAP ERP using Web Dynpro Programming
- Learn how to use BADIs and User Exits to enhance SAP functionality

This programme equips students with the competencies needed to successfully assume SAP ERP job roles: SAP ABAP Consultant

Candidates with any educational qualification and knowledge in any computer programming or fresh graduates, with specialization in computer programming are welcome to apply. No prior work experience is required.

- Graduation Requirements
Learners must successfully:
- Attend minimum of 75% for Class Room Sessions
- Score a minimum of 50% in Summative Assessment and appear for Review and Feedback
- Attain Competency Grade (C), in Summative Assessment
