What is the eligibility criteria?
Registered or incorporated in Singapore
At least 30% local shareholding by Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
Employment size of not more than 200 (at group level) or with annual sales turnover (at group level) of not more than $100 million
Trainees must be hired in accordance with the Employment Act and fully sponsored by their employers for the course
Trainees must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents
How much is the course fee subsidy?
SMEs will enjoy subsidies of up to 90% of the course fees when they sponsor their employees for SSG funded courses. All employers of workers who meet the eligibility criteria for Workfare Training Support (WTS) scheme will continue to receive additional course fee funding of 5% under the WTS scheme (for a total of 95% subsidy).
How much is the absentee payroll?
Absentee payroll funding is 80% of basic hourly salary with a cap of $7.50 per hour. For training outside working hours, it is subject to employer top-up of balance 20% of hourly basic salary, capped at $1.90/hr.#

What is the eligibility criteria?
Company must be registered or incorporated in Singapore.
Participants must be employed and fully sponsored by the company for all costs associated with the training.
Participants must be Singapore Citizen(s) or Permanent Resident(s) of Singapore, and must be employed by the company in accordance to the Employment Act except for sole proprietors, partners, working directors, members of co-operatives or commission-based agents.
How much is the course fee subsidy?
Non-SMEs will enjoy subsidies of up to 50% of the course fees when they sponsor their employees for SSG funded courses. All employers of workers who meet the eligibility criteria for Workfare Training Support (WTS) scheme will continue to receive additional course fee funding under the WTS scheme.
How much is the absentee payroll?
Absentee Payroll is 80% of hourly basic salary capped at $4.50/hr. For training outside working hours, it is subject to employer top-up of balance 20% of hourly basic salary, capped at $1.10/hr.
