Step 1 – Pre-course Counseling
Candidates will be briefed on the items mentioned in the Application form by a Sales Consultant or through an online session before proceeding to the further stage.
Step 2 – Course Application
If a prospect is interested in a course, a Sales Consultant will collect the following documents for assessment of eligibility.
- 2x copies of passport size photos (white background)
- Certified true copies of Official Academic Certificates (Highest Qualification and Transcript or equivalent)
- CV (to include work experience and location of work place)
- Photocopies of Identification Document (NRIC)
- Application form
- Processing fee (non-refundable)
- Incomplete application forms and supporting documents will not be processed.
Step 3 – Student Selection
Lithan will process and evaluate the candidate's application. The evaluation process normally takes up to a maximum of 5 working days depending on the programme applied for. A Sales Consultant will inform the candidate on the outcome. An offer letter will be issued if the application is successful.
Step 4 – Student Contract Execution
Candidates must complete the following formalities before making a payment. Please read this presentation to have a better understanding of your student contract.
To ensure 2-way communication to clarify any doubt with the school before signing the Student Contract*.
- Signing of Offer Letter*
- Go through and sign the Advisory Note*
- Go through and sign the PEI-Student Contract*
Step 5 – Course Fee Payment
Candidates can make payments through the following modes:
- Cash
- Nets
- Credit Cards (Master or Visa)
- Debit Cards (Master or Visa)
- Cheques
- Bank Transfer

Step 2 – Course Application
If a prospect is interested in a course, an Agent or a Sales Consultant will collect the following documents for assessment of eligibility:
- 2x copies of passport size photos (white background)
- Certified true copies of Official Academic Certificates (Highest Qualification and Transcript or equivalent)
- Photocopies of passport (Expiry date of not less than 6 months)
- CV (to include work experience and location of work place)
Candidates will pay the processing fee (bank details will be provided) and sign the Application Form. Incomplete application forms and supporting documents will not be processed.
Step 3 – Student Selection
Lithan Academy will process and evaluate the candidate's application. The evaluation process normally takes up to a maximum of 5 working days depending on the programme applied for. The Channels department will inform the candidate on the outcome. An offer letter will be issued if the application is successful.
Step 4 – Student Pass Application
Lithan Academy will apply for a student pass for the candidate in the event that he/she accepts the offer.
The following documents are needed for the processing of the Student Pass:
- Photocopy of Birth certificate
- Financial documents showing at least of SGD 30,000
- ICA eForm V16 and V36
If Immigration and Checkpoint Authority, Singapore (ICA) approves the application, a Channels Consultant will send an In-principle letter to the respective candidate.
Step 5 – Student Contract Execution
Candidates must complete the following formalities before making a payment:

Lithan will facilitate an orientation program for all new students before start of class.
*Candidates will receive a copy of the above-mentioned documents upon completion of course enrollment.

Medical Insurance

Medical coverage for students
Lithan Academy is in an agreement with Liberty Insurance to provide medical insurance coverage for our international students and local students.
Note:
It is mandatory for all students in Private Education Institutes (PEI) to be covered by medical insurance with a minimal coverage of S$20,000, at least B2 ward in a government and restructured hospital. 24 hours coverage in Singapore and overseas (if student is involved in school-related activities).
Singapore Citizen/Permanent Resident and non-Student Pass International Student who is currently protected by his/her own insurance plan may opt out of medical insurance scheme.
A Certificate of Insurance is available for students to view and acquaint themselveswith.

How to Apply
International Students are required to apply for a student pass if they wish to study full time in Singapore. Applicants are required to submit the following documents to Lithan Academy

Student Visa Application Form
- 1 set of eForm V16 and V36 duly completed and signed by the applicant at the relevant sections
- 2 e-Photographs (against a white background)
- Photocopy of the passport bearing personal particulars (photocopy)
- Birth certificate (Notary certified true copies, translated to English)
Other documents required:
- Transcripts and certificates (Notary certified true copies, translated to English)
- Photocopy of documentary proof of financial ability (bank statement/fixed deposit accounts/saving accounts)
- Work experience certificate (if applicable)
Applicants are required to submit the documents at least six weeks before course commencement date. Applicants are not required to be present in Singapore while their applications are being considered by Immigrations and Checkpoint Authority, Singapore (ICA). No extension of stay will be granted while the application is under processing.
